Zena GRECNI
Sustained Climate Assessment Specialist, East-West Center
Zena GRECNI is the Sustained Climate Assessment Specialist for the Pacific RISA, a NOAA Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments team. Based at the East-West Center in Honolulu, she works with a network of federal, state, and local partners to synthesize climate information and coordinate assessments for the US-Affiliated Pacific Islands region. Ms. Grecni served as a Chapter Author for the US Fourth National Climate Assessment and as Lead Author the Pacific Islands Regional Climate Assessment (PIRCA) for Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Ms. Grecni received a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and has more than a decade of experience in the Pacific Islands.
