With a ten years’ track in scientific research and over 15 years working experience in business and biodiversity, Dr. Thomas Schaefer is an internationally recognized expert in the management of biodiversity in companies. The Global Nature Fund works to mainstream biodiversity along the entire supply chain. This involves concrete advisory, on-farm trainings and trainings for national advisors, improvements in the criteria of sustainability certification schemes and in companies’ sourcing guidelines, as well as the support of wholesalers and communication to consumers.

Thomas Schaefer holds a PhD in Ecology and Conservation and has a degree in CSR Management.
