Thierry Renaud has a wealth of experience in philanthropy, both at the strategic and implementation levels, and a passion for impact and sustainability. No wonder these two terms are in fact the title of the unit he has set up within the MAVA Foundation.

The MAVA Foundation is a family foundation focused on nature conservation. It has been set up as a limited-life foundation, and MAVA will stop its grantmaking in 2022. Thierry heads its Impact and Sustainability Unit, which works across the board in order to perpetuate MAVA vision in the long term: organisational development, alternative financing mechanisms, leadership development, monitoring-evaluation... In parallel, he also coordinates another family foundation.
