Gender and Equity Advisor, Asia Pacific, The Nature Conservancy

Robyn James is the Gender and Equity Advisor in Asia Pacific at The Nature Conservancy. For 25+ years, Robyn has been leading and supporting conservation efforts in Asia Pacific that restore nature, prioritize collaboration, and promote equity and inclusion for marginalized people. She has partnered with staff and communities in more than 17 countries—including Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Solomon Islands—to drive gender equity in natural resource management and protected area networks and create brighter, safer futures for women. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in gender and natural resource management at the University Queensland, Australia.
