Dr Regina LEBER

Researcher, Austrian Research Centre of Industrial Biotechnology (ACIB)

Dr. Regina Leber studied biochemistry at Graz University of Technology in Austria. She is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history in basic as well as applied research. Her primary research interests are in the field of lipid metabolism, protein chemistry and antimicrobial agents. Further, she is working as Senior Lecturer at Universities in Graz with a focus on molecular biology.

Together with Prof. Harald Pichler from ACIB/TU Graz and leading European experts in molecular biology, bioprocess engineering and bioinformatics, as well as the NGO Sharkproject, Dr. Leber recently submitted a research proposal to the European Commission which aims on a biotechnological solution for the manufacturing of vaccine adjuvants as a sustainable alternative to sourcing limited natural sources.
