Mr Raffaello CERVIGNI
Lead Environmental Economist, The World Bank
Raffaello Cervigni is a lead environmental economist with the World Bank's Environment Global Practice. He manages the Global Program on Sustainability, the Bank’s umbrella program on the economics of sustainability. Raffaello has been with the Bank for over 20 years, leading policy-and project work in Latin America, Middle-East and North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa, in sectors such as natural resources management, agriculture, water, energy, transport. Before joining the Bank, he served as an area coordinator in Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance. Cervigni holds graduate degrees in economics (Ph.D., University of London and M.Phil., University of Oxford). He is the author/ co-author of over 50 publications: http://orcid.org/0000-0002-2602-6482.
