Mr Ludovic LARBODIERE

Senior agriculture advisor, IUCN

Ludovic LARBODIERE his senior agricultural and environment specialist in IUCN. He is co-leading the agriculture and land health programme and supervising activities in conservation research, field projects development and policy messaging.

Ludovic has graduated as a veterinarian in 1994 and has been working as a private practitioner for few years. He was involved in field agricultural and rural development projects in Africa during ten years : in Benin and Namibia and West Africa .
Before joining IUCN, Ludovic has been working with the French Ministry of Agriculture in Paris, on international policy, partnerships with international organisations. He then became the French and European focal point on agriculture in UNFCCC climate change negotiations. Before joining IUCN, he was as the Head of Globalisation and Food Security unit in Paris.
