Programme Officer, UNFCCC secretariat

Joanna Post is Programme management officer at the secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). She leads negotiations and international support on the research and systematic observation agenda under the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice. She also leads support for ocean-related activities and engagement, including as the secretariat’s UN-Oceans focal point.

Prior to joining the secretariat, Dr. Post was communications manager for a number of national and international research and educational projects. She holds a Ph.D. in environmental science from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.
