Mrs Ivete MAIBAZE

Minister, Ministry of Land and Environment

Ivete Maibaze was born in Maputo, in the year 1976.  Concluded her Bachelor degree in Science of Education in 2003 by the Rand Afrikaanse University in South Africa and finished the master’s degree in Environmental Education by the Johanesburg University, in 2009.

Between 1998 and 2004, was employed by the Ministry of Environment.

In the year 2009 was assign to the National Directorate for Environmental Promotion under the Ministry of Environment.

From 2012 to 2015 was nominated National Director for Environmental Promotion in the Ministry of Environment

Between 2015 and 2020 worked as National Director of Environment in the Ministry of Land, Environment and Rural Development.

Since 2020 was assigned as Minister of Land and Environment.
