Having always had an interest in wildlife and conservation, Geoff set his sights on a career in conservation after completing his Business Science Information Systems degree at the University of Cape Town. Prior to joining AP, Geoff worked on the frontlines of technological developments in conservation for a decade at Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park in South Africa where he drove the rapid transformation of a game of broken telephone with a GPS, pencil and piece of paper into a fully automated electronic system from data collection to analysis and reporting. As the Technology Development Manager at African Parks, Geoff is continuing is passion by rapidly growing the relationship between technology and conservation across the African Parks portfolio.
