Manager of the MedWet/Scientific and Technical Network, MedWet

Flavio Monti, Manager of the Scientific and Technical Network of MedWet. Conservation biologist with a Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology, specialised on migratory birds and coastal and marine ecosystems. On behalf of MedWet, he is addressing important issues in wetland conservation with the tools of international networking, aiming at a more direct participation and involvement in the promotion of environmental protection and conservation of such habitats in the Mediterranean region, a geographic area of major concern for conservation.
