Senior Coordinator, Smallholder and Agri-SME Finance and Investment Network (SAFIN)

Bettina Prato is the Senior Coordinator of the SAFIN network, a community of over 50 institutions working in different parts of the global agri-SME finance landscape, and the Vice-Chair of the international Champions' Network of the UN Food Systems Summit. She has over twenty years of experience in international development, covering issues ranging from food security and nutrition to social empowerment, from innovative finance to inclusive governance. In the past few years she has led inter alia SAFIN's efforts to build up the knowledge base around the use of blended finance for sustainable and inclusive transitions in food and agriculture.
