Ben Valk is Global Head Food and Agri Partnerships for Rabobank.
Rabobank is the globally leading Food and Agri bank. We are entirely committed to the creation of sustainable food systems.
Based on his previous roles in domestic and international banking and development of the agricultural sector, Ben maintains high level networks from which partnerships, aiming at Food System Transformation, are derived. Ben realised the first 60% of investment in the AGRI3 fund for forest conservation and sustainable agriculture. Ben is involved in the Food Action Alliance, the UN Food Systems Summit 2021, COVID19 response and Food Systems for the Future.
Before, Ben was CFRO of the Farm to Market Alliance; headed Rabobank’s Multilateral Development Banking team; was Regional Manager for Rabo Development and served in management of Rabobank's domestic banking network.
