Our session will address the effective use of communications and framing of our environmental crisis through digital and print storytelling. We will use a case study, Endémico magazine, to understand how a publication focused on art, science and environmental activism can reach larger audiences and support ecopolitical change.
We will explore effective messaging while also navigating through diverse visual communications strategies, including some used in Endémico magazine. At the same time, we will highlight the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to conservation, especially though the combination of science, arts and design.
