Program Officer, High Seas Alliance

Travis Aten is the Program Associate for the High Seas Alliance, where he focuses on aiding the Alliance in its pursuit of a new internationally legally binding instrument to protect biodiversity beyond national jurisdiction. Travis holds an undergraduate degree from St. Thomas University in international relations and anthropology and a Masters in Marine Management from Dalhousie University where his research focused on the international management of migratory species in areas beyond national jurisdiction.
