Maria is part of the 1 Million Youth Actions Challenge Coordination Committee, a project initiated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). She is also supporting the facilitation of the SDC’s Global Programme Water network “RésEAU” as a trainee at Skat Consulting in Switzerland. She is passionate for work that drives for positive action leading to a sustainable future, and pushes to understand the world’s complex socio-ecological systems through interdisciplinary perspectives. Along with her Masters in Climate Sciences, she brings with her experience in marine conservation work in the Philippines and climate change policy analysis in Switzerland and Germany.
