Ms Kavita SINHA

Deputy Director - Mitigation and Adaptation, Green Climate Fund

Kavita Sinha is the deputy director at Green Climate Fund’s Division of Mitigation and Adaptation where she leads a team of senior sector specialists to program climate investments in developing countries. She is also the focal point for GCF's ocean's related mitigation and adaptation efforts, among others. 

She has over two decades of experience in leadership roles in policy, innovations and investments in climate mitigation and adaptation with the private sector and international development organizations. She has an MBA degree from Rutgers Business School, USA and has studied international relations and political economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also completed  PhD studies in energy systems and has an honours degree in Chemical Engineering.
