Ms Katie FERGUSSON

SVP, Sustainable Impact, De Beers Group

Katie is the Senior Vice President, Sustainable Impact at De Beers Group. Her team leads the development and implementation of the Group’s Building Forever sustainability framework and 2030 Goals, including working with Community, Environmental, Technical, Strategy, HR and Consumer Brand teams across the business on Social Impact, Biodiversity and Equity & Inclusion programmes and partnerships. Prior to De Beers, Katie worked for Anglo American in South America across multiple countries on social performance and community development and before that in KPMG’s Global Sustainability team in London on sustainability strategy, management systems and assurance. She has an LLB in Law (with honours in International Human Rights Law) from Edinburgh University and an MSc in Gender and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
