‘Business as usual?’ – the role of the private sector in unlocking biodiversity data

The session will cover the need for open sharing of biodiversity data generated by the corporate sector, the importance of the data held by companies, the challenges in making it available and examples of successful data sharing agreements/initiatives at several scales and available tools and solutions for doing so.
