Pablo Arturo LOPEZ GUIJOSA is the Head of Communications and Project Manager for the Urban Biodiversity Hub. He is also a Consultant for the IUCN Green List Standard of Conserved and Protected Areas. He is a biologist (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and an environmental manager (University of Queensland, Australia).  His expertise is in international relations, specializing in communications, protected areas and biodiversity conservation. He has worked for the Ramsar Convention Secretariat as Assistant Advisor for the Americas, engaging with governments and following up on the Global Environmental Agenda. He has served as a communications specialist for the Mexican Government and helped organize the UN Biodiversity Conference — COP13 CBD in Cancun, Mexico.
