Inclusive conservation of protected areas: enhancing the ownership of stakeholders

To achieve the conservation goals of protected areas, the voice of all relevant actors needs to be heard. This is fundamental to ensure we improve the implementation of the EU legislation, a key goal of the EU Green Deal. This session will present the ENVISION project results and the concept of Inclusive Conservation, an approach for accommodating and balancing different visions for protected area management and for achieving socially relevant, economically productive and environmentally sustainable outcomes in protected areas.
