Nature Education: A Systemic Tool for ReCreating Conservation Culture

Teaching and learning are more than passing over the information: education is a transformative experience. It can be seen as a trigger to a different mindset and behavior change for valuing and conserving natural resources as a key to a sustainable future. Hosted by Katalin Czippan, Luis Camargo, Margaret Otieno and Diana Garlytska will spotlight the importance of education for conservation efforts. It will encompass discussions on systemic thinking for environmental education, a conversation about ‘Nature as a teacher’ and best practice sharing on environmental education. We believe in the power of purposeful education and invite the academic society, non-formal educators, conservationists, decision makers and other stakeholders to discuss the role of purposeful education for environment protection.
