Founder and CEO, ESG Africa Ltd

Seynabou Ba founded ESG Africa Ltd (consultancy firm supporting private sector clients manage ESG risks) after a 13 years tenure at IFC where she gained significant IFC Performance Standards experience in her roles as ESG Manager for sub-Saharan Africa, Sr. E&S Specialist and Head of QA. She has over 23 years experience across several sectors in Africa, Europe and North America which she leverages to serve as a Board Director. Prior to IFC, she spent over 8 years in the environmental insurance industry. She is fluent in Wolof,  French and English with an MSc.in Environmental Science and Policy (John Hopkins University) and an Executive MBA (London Business School). Her passion: the development of ESG practitioners in Africa through access to capacity building, innovation & technology.
