Mr Emmanuel MANISCALCO

Senior EU Programmes Officer, Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe

Emmanuel Maniscalco has been working for the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe (CPMR) for over 6 years, first as Policy Analyst, then as Programme & Policy Officer and now as Senior EU Programmes Officer since January 2019. He is responsible for developing CPMR’s strategy for EU programmes and ensuring the financial and legal monitoring of EU programmes. He also coordinates the participation of the CPMR Intermediterranean Commission in several Interreg MED projects, notably BLUE GROWTH COMMUNITY and BLUE BIO MED.

In addition, Mr. Maniscalco teaches a course on "Cooperation in the Mediterranean" within the Master in European and International Studies of the Aix-Marseille University.

Emmanuel holds a BA in Hispanic Philology and another in Applied Foreign Languages (EN-ES). He obtained a master's degree in European studies at the University of Aix-Marseille in 2015.
