Robin provides corporate advisory services for The Biodiversity Consultancy, combining his real-world experience of the conservation sector with rigorous science-based metrics such as STAR to develop practical solutions. Robin has a background in delivering 'boots on the ground' conservation projects for NGOs in Africa and SE Asia. He has assessed the biodiversity impact of large-scale agriculture, forestry and mining projects in academic and consultancy roles. He has advised companies spanning impact investors, the extractive sector and tech-consulting firms on strategies to maximise the positive impact of their nature-based solutions programmes. He holds a PhD in environmental economics.
