Mr Yann AGUILA

Professor of Law / Partner in a Law Firm

Yann Aguila is Professor at Sciences Po Paris and partner in a Law Firm, Bredin Prat. Prior to joining the bar, he was judge at the French Administrative Supreme Court, the Conseil d’État. He teaches Public Law and Global Environmental Governance. 

He is one of the initiators of the Global Pact for the Environment, as Chairman of the Environment Commission of  Le Club des juristes. He coordinated the work of an international network of some 100 experts who drafted a first draft of the Pact. He heads the Global Pact Coalition, an NGO accredited to UNEP, which aims to promote the international recognition of environmental rights.

He is the author or co-editor of numerous books, such as « A Global Pact for the Environment: Legal Foundations », « Droit public français et européen » or « Principios de Derecho Ambiental y Agenda 2030 ».
