At GIZ Vanessa focuses on capacity building and technical assistance for sustainable infrastructure delivery. She manages the extension of the Sustainable Infrastructure Tool Navigator, a platform designed to help users navigate the complex universe of sustainable infrastructure tools and knowledge, including themes like nature-based solutions and biodiversity. The Navigator is hosted by GIZ's Emerging Markets Sustainability Dialogues (EMSD) and UNEP's Sustainable Infrastructure Partnership and supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Vanessa also works for the City Climate Finance Gap Fund, which supports early-stage project preparation of climate-smart urban infrastructure.
