Prof. Rose-Liza EISMA-OSORIO

A Professor teaching natural resources and environmental law for the past 17 years. Currently, she is the Chairperson of the Governing Board of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law. She is also a member of the Steering Committee of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL). She is also a member of the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide (ELAW). She is a co-founcer and previously the managing trustee of the Philippine Earth Justice Center, Inc. She recently joined Oceana as its Legal and Policy Direcot and works on strategic, directed campaigns to ensure protection of the ocean through science-based fisheries management and policy reforms to stop overfishing, habitat destruction, and marine pollution.
