Isabelle is the co-founder and director of the NGO Hutan, a grassroots research and conservation initiative established in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, since 1998. For the past 23 years, Hutan has been working to develop innovative solutions for biodiversity conservation and for a more peaceful coexistence between wildlife and people.
