Dr Anne-Sophie ARCHAMBEAU

Node Manager GBIF France, IRD/UMS PatriNat

Doctor in Oceanography, Anne-Sophie worked for a few years at the Pierre Simon Laplace Institute (IPSL) as data engineer for the valorization of environmental data. She then joined the IRD (Research Institute for Development) as a research engineer and then became GBIF France Node manager in 2013. She promotes open data and helps organize the workflow of biodiversity data at national level. She helps publishers, private and public, to share their primary biodiversity data internationally. She is involved in several national and international projects on biodiversity informatics and research infrastructures, and she has experience in national and international training and capacity building in data mobilization and use.
