Hawaii Watershed Partnership Model; A Collaborative Approach to Managing Watersheds Across Landowner Boundaries.

The Hawaii Watershed Partnership Model is a unique and inclusive means of fostering public and private landowner collaboration to enact and forward on-the-ground watershed and forest conservation efforts across the Hawaiian Islands. The Hawaii Association of Watershed Partnerships acts as an umbrella to further connect and align the 10 island-based Partnerships. Lessons learned from the presentation can be used as a model to create similar partnerships anywhere in the world.
