IBAT: Open for Business

IBAT, the Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool, provides the world’s most authoritative biodiversity data to a range of audiences. Developing these datasets comes at a cost. With increasing demands for open access data and requests from different audiences and different formats, what does the future look like for evidence-based decision-making? Can the technology meet the demand? What does open access mean and how can we ensure information is freely available and up to date? This session will look at the technological solutions to aid decision-making in a fast-paced world.
