Statistics show that today protecting environment and biodiversity exposes to more and more personal risks. A first reaction against this negative trend has been developed by several institutions and organizations. This training session will share some of the know-how enabling a stronger protection for those protecting the environment.

The training session on "How to protect those who protect the environment" will be addressed to those who are involved in nature protection activities that might put them at risk. It will provide them with relevant and available legal and institutional instruments which can protect better their work for the environment and help them to bring back home some protective thoughts, measures and strategies.
