In this highly interactive session, a representative of the Green Climate Fund will present to the audience the modalities for accessing climate financing in the area of nature-based solutions that mitigate climate change, promote ecosystem-based adaptation and make both ecosystems and communities more resilient to climate change. The audience will be queried and challenged to propose project ideas that the presenter will then briefly assess in the context of climate finance. The presenter will be supported by a representative from an IUCN project that has received GCF Financing to provide hands-on information and experience of dealing with GCF.
