Gestión integrada de los océanos

The Convention for Cooperation in the Protection and Development of the Marine and Coastal Environment of West and Central Africa provides a general legal framework for all marine-related programmes in West, Central and Southern Africa. The Abidjan Convention through its protocol on Integrated Coastal Zone Management is encouraging parties to implement the protocol as an instrument within the purview of laws governing their coastal zone. The session will focus on different presentations, feedback on the implementation of projects dealing with Integrated Ocean Management, benefits and lessons learned.
