Thomas is a Chemical Engineer by education. With ten years of projecting chemical plants internationally, Thomas has a strong technical background. Working for Roche’s global SHE (Safety, Security, Health, Environment) department gained him broad knowledge on various SHE subjects such as risk management, technical safety, energy and water conservation, climate change mitigation, and LCA. Thinking conceptually Thomas develops pragmatic goal-focused solutions. Being Roche’s Chief Environmental Sustainability Officer, he is the mind behind Roche’s strategy and programs aimed at reducing Roche’s ecological footprint with particular focus on climate change mitigation.
