Manon ALBAGNAC

Chargée de projet Sahel - Désertification, Centre d'Actions et de Réalisations Internationales

Manon Albagnac is an agronomist with a 10 years professional experience in supporting CSOs. Manon Albagnac joined the French association CARI in 2016 as a Sahel-Desertification project manager. As such, she became familiar with the challenges faced by drylands population due to land degradation. Since 2019, she has been coordinating the ReSaD (Sahel Desertification Network), which brings together civil society organizations active in the combat against desertification in the Sahel. She supports ReSaD members' advocacy on land issues, and in taking part to negotiations in the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification.

Manon Albagnac was elected representative of Western Europe and Other Groups in the CSO panel of the UNCCD.
