Dr Tom Evans works in the WCS Forest and Climate Change program, where he leads the Intact Forests Initiative and coordinates the Forests for Life partnership. He has a particular interest in mobilizing climate finance, policy change and on-the-ground action to secure the world's major intact forest carbon sinks and the wealth of biodiversity and human values that they support. He was a member of the Task Force that developed the IUCN policy on Primary Forests and Intact Forest Landscapes.
