Senior Vice President, Conservation Strategy, Impact and Learning , African Wildlife Foundation

Charly oversee AWF effective program implementation, conservation strategy development, impact and learning. He is also responsible for the successful roll-out and oversight of AWF’s country programs. He led the integration of AWF’s Rights based approach across our programs.  Charly previously served as Vice President for Policy and Government Relations and Vice President for Program Operations. 

Charly has more than 20 years in strategy development, program implementation and delivery across Africa, with ability to deliver results and manage programs in dispersed, remote and physically challenging geographies while building strategic partnerships with public and private donors as well as strengthening community relationships. Charly spends 40 percent of his time in the field to understand the challenges on the ground.
