Dr Daniele BAISERO
Data Analyst, KBA Secretariat
My research interests strongly revolve around the use of geospatial data in conservation-oriented modelling. I contributed towards the development of global habitat models for all mappable taxa, and studied the impacts of socioeconomic development scenarios on biodiversity. I am currently working on the development of new data products, tools and technologies on behalf of the KBA Secretariat. Designer and developer of the KBA Assessment Parameter Database and KBA Scoping Tool, which include spatially explicit recorded and modelled data for nearly 80'000 species at very fine resolution.
