Mr Wellard MAKAMBO

IGCP Programme Manager, International Gorilla Conservation Programme/WWF

Wellard Makambo is a Congolese national who has been working since 2007 for the International Gorilla Conservation Programme (IGCP) a programme of WWF, CI and FFI and holds an MBA. He has a lot of experience in linking conservation and people livelihoods development. Wellard is currently the Programme Manager in charge of coordinating the IGCP program across the three countries of DRC, Rwanda and Uganda and also the IGCP focal point on issues related to Human Wildlife conflicts. Wellard is passionate about community development in and around the protected areas.
