Regional Director for Latin America, Plastic Oceans International

Mark is Regional Director for Plastic Oceans in Latin America. He oversees development, networks creation and education programs tailored to the Latin American market. Mark pushes for Chile’s transition to a Circular Economy in different work groups, and he is a member of the board of the Chilean Plastics Pact. With Plastic Oceans Chile he has been at the forefront of the single-use plastics law that was recently approved in Chile.

Plastic Oceans International is dedicated to ending plastic pollution and fostering sustainable communities worldwide. Through Education, Activism, Advocacy, and Science, they drive changes in consumer behavior, corporate practices, and public policy which lead to a reduction in plastic pollution, regenerative communities and a healthier ocean and planet. They promote local action to generate global change.
