Networks and Partnerships in the Mediterranean Region: Building and strengthening Networks & Partnerships (Part 1)

The event will present, through a panel, the networks of MPA managers as a new dynamic to reach targets on MPAs in the Mediterranean. The process of the Mediterranean MPA Forum will be also presented ; this unique process gather all the MPA community to join forces to better implement MPA commitments in the Mediterranean through a Mediterranean MPA Roadmap. The Mediterranean Consortium for Biodiversity will be presented ; this collaboration of Mediterranean key stakeholders working on marine areas, islands, forests and wetlands with an integrated approach to support nature-based solutions effective implementation. Finally, the initiative of a new Mediterranean ecotourism destination management will be presented.
