Mr Tariro Davison SARUCHERA

Tariro is a water resources management specialist with interests in water governance, capacity building and community participation. He has about 15 years of experience working on issues surrounding water policy and institutions, water cooperation, livelihoods, and irrigation water management in national and international basins of southern Africa. He has worked in different capacities in the water sector, including project management, research, project consulting, advocacy and stakeholder engagement. He worked with the Water Research Commission of South Africa, the International Water Management Institute, the World Bank and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) among several regional organisations. Tariro holds a BSc in Management from the Unv of Zimbabwe, an MPhil in IWRM from the Unv of Western Cape, an MSc in Environmental Studies from the Unv of Pretoria and a PGD in Water and Sanitation Development from the IWSD in Harare
