Population Health and Environment Manager , Margaret Pyke Trust

Rumbi is the Population, Health and Environment Manager at the Margaret Pyke Trust — London UK, supporting projects in Uganda, including developing community educational materials. She has been working at the Trust since June 2021. Rumbi's work mainly focuses on connecting human and environmental health and supports advocacy activities at key environmental policy fora. She recently assisted a campaign that advocated for climate funding mechanisms to be redirected to removing barriers to family planning and girls' education that included the support of over 60 NGOs. She is a member of CEESP and Co-Chairs the IUCN Biodiversity and Family Planning Task Force.
