Robert is one of the Co-founders and Head of Strategy for the M&C Saatchi Group South Africa. From opening just over 10 years ago the agency group now comprises 7 Creative Companies and employees 350 diverse, talented minds. Known as the Chief Simplicity Officer, Robert has spent more than a decade applying the agency's philosophy of Brutal Simplicity of Thought for multiple brands such as Heineken, Lexus, Standard Bank and Nando's.
The Street Store, a free pop-up clothing store for the homeless developed and managed by the agency, has turned into a global movement with over 980 Street Stores taking place across 24 countries clothing an estimated 500,000 people. This initiative has won Gold at the Cannes Lions Awards and was acknowledged as The Best World Changing Idea for EMEA by Fast Company.
