Mr Massiri GUEYE
Coordinateur "Alternative Projects", Nature Rights / Réseau des Savoirs de la Forêt
With a formation in environmental engineering and sustainable development, I start working in urban biodiversity protection in Paris with the NGO "Noé". In 2017, I started a volunteering travel in South America and realized how powerful was the energy of Nature but also how critical was the situation of its conservation. I start volunteering with the NGO Nature Rights in French Guiana for two months in a new program of conservation of the Amazon forest and valuation of local traditional knowledge called " Forest Knowledge ".
After this first experience, I came back to Paris, starting a Master in Development Political Science and Humanitary Help. Then came back to French Guiana taking the lead of the coordination of the " Forest Knowledge " program since 2018.
In 2019 we created a new organisation called " Forest Knowledge Network" ("Réseau des Savoirs de la Forêt" in french).
