Programme coordinator pro-biodiversity value chains, Noé

With an agro-economist background, Mariana is involved in the development and humanitarian sector for the past 10 years. She worked for various NGOs and action-research centers in Africa, in the Middle East, in South-East Asia and in Central America. She worked to strengthen the capacities of local NGOs in family farm advisory services, financial services, and in structuring of producer groups and value chains for GRET NGO during 3 years in Myanmar. She also led humanitarian programmes of Action Against Hunger in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon for 2 years, coordinating agricultural development, food security, nutrition, water and sanitation, and protection projects. She was specifically involved in the operational monitoring of the programmes quality and in supporting the local teams.
Mariana joined Noé for pro-biodiversity value chains programme in January 2020 to support the value chain activities as Senior Programme Coordinator.
