Ms Maria APOSTOLOVA

Team Leader , Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization

Maria Apostolova is the Team Leader of the GEF Amazon Basin Project at the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO). Previously, she acted as a Regional Coordinator and International Waters Specialist at ACTO and the Organization of American States (OAS) coordinating transboundary water projects in the Amazon, Upper Paraguay-Pantanal and São Francisco River Basins. Ms. Apostolova is an environmental and international policy specialist with a Master degree in International Relations from the University of Brasilia and a Master in International Policy and Practice degree from the GW Elliott School of International Affairs.
