Mr Magdi BATATO

Executive Vice President, Head of Operations, Nestlé S.A.

Magdi Batato is a Swiss national. He joined Nestlé in 1991 as engineer and moved to Germany, Lebanon and South Africa as factory manager. He was transferred to Malaysia as Executive Director of Production and moved to Nestlé UK & Ireland as Head of Group Technical. Later on, he was appointed CEO of Nestlé in Pakistan & Afghanistan. Since October 2015, Magdi is Executive Vice President Nestlé S.A. and Head of Operations. Magdi is representing Nestlé on the executive committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, is a member of the Swiss Academy of Technical Sciences and is Chairman of IDH.
